In the center of communism

Paramadvaiti Swami: One of his very dear disciples was Dvarakesa dasa Brahmacari, who later became known as Svami Bhakti Abhaya Narayana. He was the first devotee in Srila Prabhupada's mission to preach in the communist areas behind the Iron Curtain. He was originally from Hungary and had settled in Sweden. There he met Srila Prabhupada's mission, surrendered to him and became his disciple. Later, he started organizing the preaching in Hungary by translating Prabhupada's books into Hungarian and Russian. In this way he showed the whole mission how to preach in the communist countries. Srila Prabhupada encouraged him in his letters to continue in this preaching.

New devotees were coming and Srila Prabhupada told him that he had to stay there, instead of going back to Sweden. Prabhupada said, "Just tell them that they should put Sri Krishna in the center of communism. Then everything will work out fine." Srila Prabhupada was ready to sacrifice any comfort for the preaching of Krishna consciousness. Hearing about the results of these efforts made him very happy.
