The Eagle-Tribune is excited to present “Historic Front Pages: 1867-2013” this holiday season.

This hardcover, 11-by-15-inch, coffee-table book features 176 pages of historic headlines and stories.

The featured front pages date back to the paper’s origins in 1867. They reflect coverage of local and national historic events, all the way up to 2013.

Readers can relax and peruse memorable events as they unfolded, all presented in an attractive, jumbo coffee-table publication. Meanwhile, the evolution of newspapers can be witnessed.

“Its a great chronicle of our area,” said Linda Gardner, who managed the production of “Historic Front Pages.” “It covers tragedy to triumph.”

North of Boston Media Group Regional Publisher Karen Andreas is happy to bring this personal look down memory lane to the readers of The Eagle-Tribune.

“I am very proud of this keepsake book,” Andreas said. “And I hope the community enjoys it.”
