Daytona Beach is set to see an extra spotlight on it this month.

Academy Award winning actor Brad Pitt is in Daytona to film an unnamed movie that revolves around the world of Formula 1 racing, according to media reports.

The A-lister is reported to be at Rolex Roar Before 24, the three-day test runs that are the final dress rehearsal for the Rolex 24 At Daytona International Speedway. The production is said to also film at other area locations in Volusia County, including a yet-to-be-confirmed surf shop in Daytona Beach Shores and Pappas Drive-In & Family Restaurant in New Smyrna Beach.

While Pitt might be busy up in North Florida this month, it will be an easy commute for his longtime manager Cynthia Pett-Dante. The renowned talent manager purchased a home on South Florida's Hibiscus Island last year.
