In the past I used to wear Motjer jeans all the time. Such good quality. These are decent. They are stretchy. I can’t give 5 stars, because I have not worn them yet. Not sure if they will stretch out. They sort of remind me of Frame jeans. I wish they had petite. I’m 5’2 and the back of the bottom length is past my ankle. The front that is shorter than the back hits- right at my ankle. I believe try to size. I ordered my normal size. If I keep, I would have my tailor cut them. They are a raw hem. They are a dark black. I can see them fading as washing goes on. I don’t dry, but they are that black and that material I feel will fade after a few washes. I remember Mother was a great quality denim. I don’t feel like these are worth the price. What happened to Mother?

I’m new to Mother, but definitely see the hype. This is my 3rd pair, and while these are slightly more snug in the waist than my other two, all same size, they are still great. Be aware these are a little more see through than my other white jeans in another brand, but not too much so. Love the color, slightly more vanilla than true white. (I stacked them on top of older white jeans and you can see the difference- which adds to the modern, cool vibe.) I’m a pretty standard 29 in jeans (5’9, 155 lbs) and like the fit and length fits like the model so looks cute with flats or heel.

I had heard great things about mother denim and was looking for a new go-to denim brand. I went against my rule not to purchase from a company that doesn’t offer petite sizes since a few petite reviewers said they worked for them. These looked terrible on me. The flair landed at a weird length but that wasn’t the worst of it. The pant had a lot of extra fabric in the stomach area and made me look larger than all of my other jeans. This boils down to needing a petite which is generally cut smaller everywhere, not just in the length. I also found the faded train black color to emphasize the bad fit. They also just didn’t seem special considering the price point.

I love all Mother jeans. It’s really becoming the only denim brand I wear! The fit is perfect, true to size. You don’t feel like you have to order a size down or 2 sizes up to fit into them.
I was actually expecting the white ones to run more fitted, but they stayed pretty true to size. I needed an outfit for a white party and I wanted denim that I could dress up with a great pair of Valentino heels, these are it! I know I will get a lot of work out of them in the future.
