September 24, 2024For three weeks I have been testing this cleaning equipment, with the intention of writing an honest review about its performance and effectiveness. I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised by its great versatility. Having the opportunity to clean my floors with a sweeping and mapping function in one machine is a great relief for me since I do not have to use different equipment. With the dry function, I can use it on both regular and carpeted floors. It contains a tank that is filled with water with a cleaning solution to perform mapping. It contains another tank where it collects the vacuumed liquids with a filter that collects allergens, dust, pet hair to ensure cleaner air quality. It also contains cleaning tablets to add to the water tank, which can be purchased separately. But you can also use other cleaning products suitable for the equipment that do not contain foam. It has cleaning brushes that are interchangeable depending on the function you want to perform. It comes with a docking station that plugs in to charge the machine. This means that we are talking about an extremely comfortable device that does not contain any connected cables that bother you when it is in operation. It charges for a very reasonable and necessary time of use. And it is a device that is very light, easy and comfortable to use. It has an LED screen that tells you the battery life, if there is something stuck in the brushes and if you need to change the water in the tank. I love that it can clean the edges of the floors that are usually inaccessible for other devices. The other function that it has and I find wonderful is that it is capable of self-cleaning the device, making your work easier. It cleans the inner tube and its rotating brush, so the only thing you have to do is empty the dirty water tank, rinse the removable parts and let them dry separately before reintegrating them into the device. I am extremely delighted with my cleaning device and I recommend it to anyone who wants to make their life easier.

August 13, 2024First off, this is the first cordless vacuum I’ve ever tried out and I’ve gotta say, it is so convenient to not have a cord. With that said, I know the trade off with cordless is that the suction isn’t quite as strong as you’ll get from a corded vacuum. When I first got this out of the box I will admit I watched a quick YouTube video to familiarize myself with the basics and that was easier for me than the provided directions. It comes basically ready to go out of the box, just put on the charger for a few hours before using it for the first time. So on my first use I filled the water tank and added one of the black and decker cleaning tabs. It is really lightweight and easy to maneuver. It gets all the way to the edge! Yes, it gets all those annoying crumbs that get up near the baseboards and under cabinets in my kitchen! This is an area my regular vacuum struggles with and I end up either swiffering the edges or using a small hand vac. I tried the econo and max setting for the wet vac and it works well in my kitchen and it dries relatively quickly. After trying on my low pile throw rugs I came to the conclusion that I much prefer using this on my hard floors and will leave the carpets to my regular vacuum because the dog hair seems to stick all over the base and requires a bit of extra cleaning. There is a self cleaning button which worked well for regular mess, but it didn’t really remove the built up dog hair on the roller. If you don’t mind the extra rinsing of the dog hair it does works well on the carpets. For this price point I think this product is good but could be better. Some of the interchangeable pieces are plastic and I’m not sure how well they will hold up to regular use. Pros: worked quickly and easily on the day to day kitchen crumbs, drips and messes. Very lightweight, easy to charge and emptying and filling the water tanks is super easy. Digital display shows the charging status and what mode you are in. Self cleaning mode worked well except for my dogs fine, cat like hair which seemed to want to cling to everything. Cons: I’m concerned the parts that are meant to be removed repeatedly like the roller heads and water tanks are plastic and may not hold up long term but only time will tell. I will be keeping this item for the ease of use in the kitchen and the fact that it cleans right up to the edge makes it worth it to me for that reason alone! If you’re looking for a cleaning beast that tackles everything and has power for days, this probably isn’t for you but if you are looking for convenience and ease of use for day to day cleaning without a cord, I would definitely recommend.

August 24, 2024I received this product from Influenster in exchange for an honest review. My first issue with this vacuum is that the included instruction manual needs to be more in depth and provide clarification on certain things. For example, after following the instructions to charge the vacuum and fill the clean water tank before use, I switched the vacuum on just for it not to do anything. The digital display lit up, showing the current mode and battery life, but it wasn't doing anything else. I couldn't figure out what the problem was, and at first, thought the vacuum was just defective. It turns out I needed to tilt the vacuum for suction to actually start. I really wish the manual would include little details like that. Furthermore, charging the vacuum is a bit inconvenient because you have to pick the entire thing up and place it on the charging base, rather than just being able to plug it directly into into an outlet. Another problem I had with this product is it requires a lot of clean up and maintenance after each use. Having to disassemble, rinse, clean, and dry multiple parts is kind of a hassle. I also already have a Swiffer mop and a regular vacuum, so it just doesn't feel worthwhile to use this product instead. However, I really like how lightweight this vacuum is and the fact that it's cordless. Additionally, it has fairly strong suction and was able to sweep up cat litter and food without any trouble. The mop function works quite well too, providing a good clean for wood floors. It's nice that the vacuum comes with cleaning tablets and other accessories as well. Overall, I think this product is a great idea, but could use better execution. It just doesn't fit my household and our needs that well, although I'm sure it'll work great for some people.

August 14, 2024This Black Decker Wash Duo multi surface vacuum is super convenient and great in a pinch. I really enjoyed the cordless design which allowed me to maneuver around the kitchen, living room and dining room quickly and efficiently. The little machine sucked up a variety of particles including pet food, so the suction is adequate, but not as strong as a full size vacuum. It’s a fair trade off for the convenience and not having to drag out the heavy vacuum. The wet vac feature also works well, but the reservoir is small, so that’s a bit frustrating to deal with on a bigger job, but again it’s ideal for small messes or small rooms. I love the cordless feature, but the charging base is very large and bulky. It seems they could have designed a simple plug in rather than this huge base. That’s definitely a negative in a tight space. Also the vacuum leans while on the base, so it just looks odd. Like it’s about to fall over. Strange design. Finally, the charge only lasts 25 minutes. Again fine for small jobs, but unrealistic for whole house cleaning. Overall I give it 4/5 stars rounded up. I love the convenience and the concept, but it’s not quite perfect.
